Oh Max

Me (upon arriving home): "Please give me my iPhone so it doesn't get wet in the rain"

Max (deadpan): "Mommy don't disturb me"

Me: "Max, please put your books away before you start playing with your puzzle"

Max: "Ok Mommy" (as he starts putting all of the books back haphazardly on his shelf)

Me: "Max, just to give you a hint, it's better if you put the bigger books on the bottom and the smaller ones on top"

Max (philosophically): "Oh well, it's too late now"
