On Québec's love of Franglais

Max is bilingual, although we aren't always sure he's aware of that! He tends to mix French and English words into sentences together, in what has belovedly become known in Québec as "Franglais". Lately he's had a tendancy to throw the French word "plus" randomly into sentences, which sounds something like this:

Max: "Mommy, I plus eat this?"
Max: "Daddy, I plus play with that firetruck?"
Max: "I plus go to Julia's tomorrow?"

Of course, when questioned as to what "plus" means, or why he's applying it to so many of his sentences, Max doesn't exactly give a clear answer!
