Me (hearing Max walking around upstairs): "Max, are you coming donwstairs?"
Max: "No I can't, it's too sunny and bright out"
Me: "Actually Max, it's raining"
Max: "Oh, rain will help the plants to grow!"
Me: "Yes, it will"
Max: "Look, it's raining over there, on the patio, and over there too!" (pointing to the other side of the house, at the driveway)
Me: "Yes, well, when it rains, it does tend to rain all over the place..."
